About Foyt Wine
For over 50 years, the Foyt family’s unwavering determination has driven their unmatched success in professional motorsports. Today, they own an Indy Car race team, and award-winning winery in Sonoma County, a captivating Winery and Museum in Fredericksburg, Texas, and a tasting lounge near the iconic Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Driven by their passion for fine wines and inspired by A.J. Foyt's remarkable racing career, cousins A.J. Foyt IV and Larry Foyt founded Foyt Family Wines. Each wine they produce pays tribute to A.J. Foyt's legacy, featuring a significant car number or a year from his victorious races. These labeled stories aim to educate, honor, and celebrate A.J. Foyt's immense contributions to American motorsports, the Indy 500, and its devoted fans.
Foyt Wines
Their Mission is to craft distinct, high-quality small-lot wines by leveraging the expertise of their boutique winemakers, Tom Meadowcroft and Petar Kirilov, and sourcing grapes from the finest vineyards in Napa and Sonoma counties.
Their wines are carefully crafted with minimal new oak barrel exposure and low fermentations, allowing them to express the true essence of the fruit and the environmental influence from their vineyards. They take pride in crushing their grapes on-site, allowing them to have complete control over the wine making process.
Their wines are offered online with direct-to-consumer shipping available in most states. One can also savor their wines in their tasting rooms located in Texas or Indianapolis.
